The Executive Staunton chess pieces feature a 3.75" King with a triple weighted 1.625" base and
leather bottoms.  Ebony is the most traditional and striking wood for chess sets.  Although
commonly thought to be pure black, ebony actually has a very subtle and beautiful
wood grain.  All opposing chess pieces are crafted from high quality boxwood.
